Economic variant

• This switchgear provides power to dwellings with a three-phase power system. The basis of power distribution in this system is the KP-DB-I-MF-424 switchgear. The enclosure is made of metal and is designed for flush mounting, which means that, after installation, it is flush with the wall. This switchgear can contain up to 96 single-module switches. This switchgear consists of the switching and protection components for the system and equipment, and above all its users, against fault conditions such as overloads, short circuits and creepage from the system (a creepage might result in electric shock).
• The value version of the switchgear contains the main disconnecting equipment of the entire system - the KMI switch disconnector. With this device, the user can switch off the power supply to the entire system, e.g. in the event of modernisation works. Due to the KLI control light, there is a possibility to check whether the installation is live.
• In this version of switchgear, the KSD-T1T2 275/240 3P+N device is to be installed as the main overvoltage protection (e.g. from lightning). This is a varistor type surge arrester for classes T1 and T2.
• Concerning protection against electric shock, this version of the electrical system is divided into two sections, i.e. two residual-current circuit breakers are used. The main protection against electric shock is a three phase circuit breaker KRD6-4/40/30-A which operation covers the rooms, kitchen and bedroom. This protection has a rated current of forty amperes (In=40A) and a creepage of thirty milliamperes (Id=30mA). Both parameters can be found in similar systems and the creepage protection complies with current building law standards concerning the electrical systems. The second electric shock protection circuit is KRD6-2/25/30-A and, as above, the parameters of this equipment are in accordance with current construction standards.
• Protection of electrical outlet circuits in each of the kitchen, bedroom or residential rooms is performed by overcurrent circuit breakers with specification B and rated current equal to sixteen amperes (In=16A) KMB6-B16/1. Separate protection of the lighting system - in each of the mentioned places - is carried out using an overcurrent circuit breaker with specification B and a rated current of ten amperes (In=10A) KMB6-B10/1.
• In this variant of the system, three overcurrent protection devices are provided for the three-phase circuits: the first one is the protection of the induction cooking circuit with the KMB6-C20/3 overcurrent circuit breaker (rated current In=20A and specification "C"), the other two are the KMB6-B16/3 overcurrent circuit breakers for the recovery circuit and the three-phase socket.
