Product code: 38530Type B RCDs are used in locations where DC differential currents may occur, such as in three-phase rectifier systems, electric vehicle charging systems, and micro-power sources such as solar panels. This technology comes closest to providing complete protection against all known types of differential currents – Type B RCDs functionally encompass other types (AC, A, F). Standard Type B RCDs detect differential currents including alternating current, alternating and pulsating direct current (up to 1000 Hz), and smooth direct current.
